December 2011 - Open studios - Christmas exhibition

Brighton artist Caia Matheson will be opening her studio to the public, with invited guests Pearl Bates, Jan Irvine and Kate Greaves. The exhibition incorporates painting, bespoke furniture, jewellery, collage and film. Children are welcome and there is disabled access. Mulled wine, mince pies and coffee available. Contributions will be donated to the Martlets Hospice. Unit 14, Beaconsfield Studios, Ditchling Rise, Brighton BN1 4QL, 12 noon to 5pm, Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th of December.

November 2011 - Matchbox Art Show

Pearl will be exhibiting two matchbox artworks as part of The Matchbox Art Show. To catch this 'Magnificent Microscopic Moment', come along to the Polish & Pin Open House on the weekends of the 26th and 27th of November, and the 3rd and 4th of December. Polish & Pin, 23 Wilbury Gardens, Hove, BN3 6HQ.

November 2011 - Christmas showcase art exhibition

An auction of artworks, including three pieces by Pearl Bates, will take place at the Capitol Theatre Gallery, Horsham on the evening of Wednesday 22nd November. Proceeds will be in aid of The Dame Vera Lynn Trust for children with cerebral palsy. The artworks will be on exhition from Monday 21st November until Wednesday 23d November, 9:45am until 6pm. May 2011 - current exhibitions

The Sussex Artists Club are exhibiting a group show in the ballroom at Pub du Vin, 7 Ship Street, Brighton. Pearl has three paintings in this show.
