Landing again...

Dear friends, I’m not quite sure how eight months have passed since I last posted here - suffice to say, it has been a whirlwind summer.

I signed up to work in the costume department on four operas at Glyndebourne opera house, which is a magical place full of stardust and amazing people, hidden away among the flowers behind the South Downs. I knew that four shows was going to mean an intense schedule, but on top of this I also received three painting commissions - all of which were commissioned as gifts, and all with tight deadlines. I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to manage it, but I’m happy to say that I did, and I loved every minute of working on all three of the pieces. Perhaps I will tell you more about them another time.

And finally, I have finished a novel, and am currently in the process of looking for an agent. Literary agents receive a deluge of submissions every week, which means they can afford to be picky, so please wish me luck!
